Mini App stores

Telegram e-commerce store development inside the chat

A catalog, cart and checkout that open inside Telegram, with order updates sent by your bot. Typical price and timeline are below, and a written quote follows a scoping chat.

  • In-chat catalog, cart and checkout
  • Stars for digital goods, other providers for physical goods
  • Admin panel and order notifications

What is a Telegram e-commerce store?

It is a shop that lives inside Telegram. A customer taps a button in your bot or channel, a Mini App opens with your catalog, and they can browse, add items to a cart and pay without leaving the chat. Your bot then sends order confirmations and status updates as normal Telegram messages.

This suits businesses whose customers already talk to them on Telegram, such as communities, creators, digital product sellers and small retailers. It is a sales channel, not a replacement for a website, and many of our clients keep both.

What do we build?

A typical Telegram store includes:

  • A catalog with categories, search, photos, variants and stock status
  • A cart and checkout built for a phone screen
  • Order tracking and messages from your bot at each step
  • An admin panel to manage products, prices, orders and customers
  • Optional sync with an existing store through its API, such as Shopify or WooCommerce

Customers are identified by their Telegram account, and we check the signed initData on the server so requests cannot be forged. You can ask for discount codes, a loyalty balance or a referral reward, and we scope those as extras.

How does checkout and payment work?

Telegram's rules, which can change, currently ask that digital goods and services are sold with Telegram Stars. Physical goods can use other payment providers connected to the bot. Some stores also accept TON. Check Telegram's current terms before you decide what to sell and how to charge for it.

The payment accounts and keys belong to you. We connect them but never hold your money. Sales tax, refunds, shipping rules and consumer law in your market are your responsibility, and we build the refund and cancellation flow you specify. Our page on Telegram Stars payments covers the integration in more detail.

A turnkey Mini App with Stars checkout and a referral engine typically costs $6,500 to $12,500 and takes 2 to 3 weeks. A simpler bot-only shop, with commands, payments and a database, typically costs $2,500 to $4,500 and takes 7 to 10 days. These are typical ranges, not quotes.

What moves the price is the number of product types, integrations with your current systems, languages, custom design and the admin tools you need. After a short scoping chat you receive a written scope and price, and work is paid in milestones. See pricing for the full picture.

What are the limits we should know about?

Telegram sets the rules on what can be sold inside Mini Apps, and they can change. Some categories are restricted, and we cannot promise that a store will be accepted or stay available. We also cannot promise sales, traffic or conversion rates. People have to find your bot or channel first, and that part is your marketing.

If you sell goods that need licences or age checks in your market, tell us at the start so the flow can include them. You own the code and the accounts you pay for.

Questions about telegram app agency in United States

Can customers pay with a card in a Telegram store?

For physical goods, Telegram allows card payments through payment providers that connect to your bot, subject to the provider's availability in your country. For digital goods, Telegram's rules currently call for Stars. We check the current terms during scoping and set up the route that fits what you sell.

Can the store connect to my existing website?

Often yes. If your store has an API, as Shopify and WooCommerce do, we can read products and stock and send orders back. If it does not, we can import a spreadsheet or build a small admin panel. We confirm what is practical during scoping, before you commit to a price.

How long does it take to build a Telegram store?

Typically 2 to 3 weeks for a Mini App store with Stars and referrals, and 7 to 10 days for a simpler bot shop. Timelines assume the product list and design choices arrive promptly. We confirm the timeline in writing after scoping, and it moves if the scope does.

Do I need a Telegram channel to run a store?

No, but a channel or group helps customers find you. The store can launch from a bot menu button, a link or a channel post. We can build the bot and the Mini App first and you decide later how to send people to it.

Who owns the code and the customer data?

You do. The repository, hosting, bot token and payment accounts are set up in your name. Customer data is stored in a database you control, and you are responsible for privacy notices and laws that apply to it in your market. We can sign an NDA on request.
