Community bots

Telegram community management bots for paid groups and moderation

Custom bots that handle paid access, group rules, welcome flows and admin tools, so your community team spends less time on routine work.

  • Paid subscriptions and access control
  • Moderation rules you define
  • Admin dashboard and clear logs

What does a community management bot do?

A community bot sits inside your group or channel and does the routine jobs for your admins. It greets new members, checks who has paid, removes people whose access has ended and applies the rules you wrote. Admins keep control through simple commands or a small web panel.

We build these bots from scratch around your community, not from a template. You tell us how your group works today, and we turn that into explicit rules the bot can follow every time.

How do paid subscriptions and access control work?

For a paid group, the bot can take payment, add the member to a private group or channel, and remove them when the plan ends. Payment options can include Telegram Stars, card payments through a processor, or crypto, depending on what your market allows. See our Telegram Stars payment integration page for the Stars side.

  • Plans, trials and renewal reminders
  • Invite links that work for one member only
  • Manual grants and refunds from an admin command

Which moderation tools can we add?

Moderation is a set of rules you choose. We implement them as clear settings so admins can change them without a developer.

  • Spam and link filtering for new members
  • Captcha or question checks on join
  • Warnings, mutes and bans with a logged reason
  • Keyword and media rules per topic or thread
  • Scheduled posts and pinned announcements

Every action is written to a log, so a disputed ban can be reviewed later.

We usually write the bot in Node.js or Python, with a database for members, plans and logs, and a webhook that runs on a server you control. You get the repository, the hosting account and the bot token under your own name, so you own the code and accounts you pay for. If you also want a Mini App for your members, we can connect the two, and our pricing page shows typical package ranges.

What are the limits of a community bot?

A bot works inside Telegram's rules, and those rules can change, including limits on how fast a bot can message and what admin rights it can hold. A bot cannot stop a determined person from screenshotting or forwarding paid content. Moderation rules also catch some good messages and miss some bad ones, so we build in appeal and review steps. We cannot promise member growth, retention or income.

Questions about telegram app agency in United States

How long does a community bot take to build?

A core bot with custom commands, payments and a database backend is typically delivered in 7 to 10 days once the scope is agreed, and typically priced from $2,500 to $4,500. Extra features, several payment providers or an admin panel can extend both the timeline and the price. A written quote follows a scoping conversation, and timelines assume timely feedback from your side.

Can the bot run several groups or channels at once?

Yes. The usual design keeps one database of members and plans and lets the bot manage as many groups or channels as you connect, each with its own rules. We agree the structure during scoping, since it affects the data model. Telegram applies its own limits on bots, so we plan around those rather than assume anything unlimited.

Do we own the bot and the member data?

You own the code and the accounts you pay for, including the bot token, the server and the database. We hand over the repository and setup notes at the end of the project. You are responsible for how you collect and store member data, including any privacy notices your market requires.

Can the bot take payments in crypto?

It can, as an option, using a payment processor or direct wallet checks on a network such as TON. Rules for accepting crypto differ by country, and tax and licensing questions belong to you and your advisers. We build the software and flag the questions, but we do not give legal or financial advice.

What do we need to send you to get started?

Message us on Telegram or WhatsApp with what the community is, how many members you expect, which payments you want, and when you need it live. We reply with questions, then a scope and a written price range. A short list of the rules your admins follow today is the most useful thing you can send.
